Have you heard of Homebrew Installer? Most likely you have, because the whole Wii community is talking about it. So will Wii Homebrew Installer really work to unlock wii easiyl? Let’s get this question answered. And by the way I myself used Homebrew Installer to unblock my wii and found out that wii has got more to it than just play games!

If you search on the internet you will come across thousands of websites which comprise of the same recycled data, under the guise of unlocking the nintendo wii, each of them telling you a different, equally as difficult to follow method of unblocking your Wiiconsole and inserting an illegal modification chip which will void your warranty!

If you own a Nintendo Wii you probably are amazed at all it can do. For such a small machine it has a lot of power. However, compared to the Xbox 360 and PS3, the Wii is missing some important features that keep it from being a true multimedia powerhouse. Something that the Wii does not initially support is playback of DVD discs, but there is now a way to turn your Wii into a DVD player and replace one more box in that home entertainment system of yours.

It also enables the ability of your Wii Console to play DVD, and finally run Import and Backup Games. Surely Homebrew Installer applications called emulators which come bundled with Homebrew Installer can give you an opportunity to play classic games from retro consoles such as N64, SNES, Sega Genesis and many more.

I hadn’t previously seen anything about this kind of program so I thought I would give it a go. I can now play backep up versions of wii games and other games from older consoles including the N64 and SNES, all thanks to Homebrew.

Play DVDs, copied Wii games, and more than 200 games and other applications on your unlocked Wii through the Homebrew Installer. A handy, sequential guide provides all of the information necessary for even the most technically challenged to install and enjoy in just a few minutes time.

HomeBrew Installer Special Features:

*Play Backup Games.
*Play Homebrew Applications.
*Play N64, GameCube, SNES and Sega Genesis Games, as well as games from other consoles.
*Access to over 2000 Free Games that you can play using the HomebreWare Bundle
*Play Region Locked Games, this means you can finally play Imported Games.
*Play DVD Movies and Mp3 Songs.

Will Homebrew Installer Will Work For You?

Homebrew Installer is currently offering a Special Promotional 40% Discount!

Homebrew Installer is a real must have for every Wii owner. The abilities of this software are just incredible. I’m really not a guy who o buys a lot of things from he internet but I’m glad I bought this software. It just brought my gaming experience to the next level.

The world has never been the same for the music industry since Apple launched iTunes. So what happened? Why are all retail music shops folding like laptops at 5pm ? After all, their products are all boxed and cool and should be able to compete with the music download industry.

Well, one of the reasons could be how easy it is to use iTunes. It is easy to have all your music stored on your mac or pc and then play it from your iPhone, iPod or directly on your computer. But Apple’s hosting strategy may be a significant part of the reason as well. With servers located in low taxed countries one could argue they have an unfair advantage over the local players in the countries.

So what happens next? Will Apple begin to control the gaming market in the same way as they do the music market? With the iPad launched, I think the games industry should begin to consider what to do next - at least the hardware producing players like SONY with PlayStation 3, Nintendo with Nintendo Wii and Microsoft with the Xbox 360.

So how will the computer games industry be able to endure
First of all; the computer games industry will survive - it’s the most growing part of the entertainment industry, when you consider both games for pc and mac, games for consoles, games for handheld, games for mobile phones and also free online games.

But how will today’s players then be able to survive in retail stores and not face the same faith as the music business ? One of the things we have seen during the past 3-4 years is using more hardware for the gameplay . Take for instance Rock Band from Harmonics, Guitar Hero - now Band Hero - from Activision-Blizzard, Wii Fit from Nintendo to mention the big sellers, but also products like Rapala We Fish, High School Musical , Singstar, Buzz and a lot of other games where you need some additional hardware to play the game. This is not - and will never be - downloadable content , so maybe this will be the retailers’ way to survive the online threat .

So if the games industry want their products in the retail stores, they need to think in terms of hardware and not only software - and at the same time, if the retail stores want to continue selling games, they need to focus on the games that include some kind of hardware and gaming accessories as such.

It will be very exciting to follow the gaming industry in the coming years - maybe we will be spectators of a real massacre.

Nintendo DS homebrew genuinely got noticed and respected with the release of the r4 Card for the Nintendo DS and now the DSi. There are a number of remakes of old school classics as well as new and unique games . The awe-inspiring thing is, these games and applications are made by amateur game developers and are all available to download absolutely free from the internet. All you’ll need is an R4 Card and your DS or DSi console to download and play these games and applications .

Alright then, ready to talk about the types of games available for your R4 Card ? There are plenty of them really . The game that keeps me glued to my NDS and my R4 Card is the retro game Lemmings. Lemmings DS that is, for the Nintendo DS and DSi. Created by an R4 Card amateur game developer . The quality of the game is honestly at par with many of the official and commerically developed games for the DS and DSi. And this is what makes it really stand out from the rest . The game itself has been ported and released in various forms on other game consoles and classic computers , even the Sony PSP has a version, the Nintendo DS really seems like the more right format for this game, if only because of the dual screen and the ability to use the touch controls.

While the game is great on the Sony PSP, navigating the menus and different tools or options is rather tough with a control pad. The NDS version of Lemmings really shines becasue of the touch play - making selecting tools and options a breeze, just as it would be with your mouse on your computer.

It is because these homebrew games are of such high quality that people are flocking to the R4 Card and taking advantage of what it has to offer in terms of homebrew gaming and also, developing your own Nintendo DS homebrew games.

Lemmings originally was released as a computer game. First for the Amiga 500 and then later it was ported over to the commodore 64 as well as the PC. Truly one of the best old school classic action / strategy / puzzle game to come along at that time. So popular in fact that it was also release for the Super Nintendo too. And now - thanks to the hard work and devotion of of some amateur game programmers, you can enjoy it on your Nintendo DS or DSi with an R4i SDHC Card.

In Lemmings, your job is to save these helpless and hopeless Lemmings by taking them from their cave or cavern and getting them to the exit. This is done by way of digging, blowing things up, climb, and building bridges. There are loads of tools at your disposal, and in some extremely funny cases, you may have to sacrifice a Lemming or two as you try to dig or climb your way to the exit on the screen.

The game appeals to a truly wide audience because it has a lot of different gameplay styles all built in . It is a mix of strategy playing, puzzle solving and filled with loads of action to boot . Lemminds DS will definitely keep you wanting to play it more and more . And thankfully you can do just that. With this DS version, every level for the various versions of lemmings have been added and included . While you may dismiss this game as just mindless fun, I can personally guarantee that you’ll need plenty of strategic thinking and skills to move forward to each new level . You have to plan precisely how you’ll get past the barries to get your lemmings to the exit - and keeping enough of them alive and well to ensure that you move on to the next level.

The R4 Card version of Lemmings for the DS really is how the game was meant to be played. Of course, playing it on the Amiga 500 or the C64 really takes us back to the old days. The ability to the touch screen to navigate the Lemmings to their rescue and exit point is exactly how the game was meant to be played. I still look at this game and find it amazing that the wonderful programmers behind it expect no payment. They release games of this quality for the sheer joy of making the game.
