How many different Wii add-ons are there?

There are a ton of add-ons that you can choose from after you buy your Wii! It is good to know what each one is for before you buy them because buying all of them would become expensive fast! When you first buy your Wii, it comes with two different controllers that connect with each other. But the Wii is capable of recognizing up to four controllers at once, so you will probably want to get an extra set of controllers so that four people are able to play.
I personally think the Wii Fit’s Balance Board is one of the best add-ons. Wii Fit is really fun, and helps you gain better balance as well as keep up with your fitness. There are also several really good games besides Wii Fit that use the Balance Board, such as Raving Rabbids TV Party, We Ski, and Shaun White Snowboarding Road Trip. And there will be many more Wii games using the Balance Board released in the near future, so I think it is a worthwhile investment.
The Wii Sports Pack comes with a steering wheel, golf club, and tennis racquet. I dont personally think this add-on is too necessary, because you can only use it for certain games. I already have the wheel add-on that comes with Mario Kart, and so that is all I need!
There is also the Wii Speak accessory which allows people in up to four locations talk to each other for free. As you talk, your personalized Mii character appears talks too! There are tons of different Wii add-ons, so I highly recommend trying them each out for awhile before buying them.

Fun for Mii on Wii fit!

I have never been the type of person who loves exercise, or who can even make myself stick to an exercise program, hard as I try. But I live in Minnesota, and when it gets to be month four or so out of the six months of winter that we seem to have here, my body gets so tired of being cooped up! So I was super curious when my friend bought Wii Fit. Wii Fit’s goal is to combine fun and fitness; maybe with Wii Fit I could actually like exercise?
The Wii fit is easy get started on. You create a ‘Mii’ character to look like yourself. There is a balance board you stand on, and you start out doing basic tests which show you how healthy your body is. I am only 25, and the game said my body seems like it is 38! You do tests to see if you balance well, and also tells you your body mass index. After that, there are a variety of fun activities, and when you do well at an activity, you unlock more activities! I was amazed how awesome my friend was at the hula hooping games! There are jogs you can do where you pass by virtual waterfalls and cute villages; much more pleasant than jogging in 10 degree frigid Minnesota! There is also aerobics, and the Wii tracks how often you play the games, as well as your overall progress. It suggests goals, but really was lighthearted and fun still! I am going to have to borrow my friends longer to see if I really would stick with it, but overall I thought it was great!
